About Garza: Garza is a sophomore forward for Wayland Baptist University in Plainview. He is a 2011 graduate of Friendswood High School. He went to McMurry University before transferring. Garza is from Friendswood.

Rob Lewis, Houston Baptist University
Position: Guard
High school: Clear Lake High School
This week: Saturday, Dec. 1, at Rice University
About Lewis: Lewis is a freshman guard for Houston Baptist University. He is a 2012 graduate of Clear Lake High School, where he was a three-year captain for coach Tommy Penders at Clear Lake High School. He averaged 17 points, five rebounds and four assists per game in high school. The business administration major is from Clear Lake and is the son of Robert and Marla Lewis.

Darren Smith, Schreiner University

High School: Clear Brook High School
This week: Saturday, Dec. 1, vs. East Texas Baptist
About Smith: Smith played at Clearbrook High School from 2006-2010 and is the son of Andre Smith, Ramsey and Tunja Johnson. sophomore guard Smith was born Jan. 6, 1992, and is the son of Andre Smith and Ramsey and Tunja Johnson. A mathematics major, he is from Houston.

Byron Randle, Sam Houston State University
High School: Friendswood High School
This week: Saturday, Dec. 1, at Northern Arizona University
About Randle: Randle played at Friendswood High School for coach Darren Chandler in 2006-2010. As team captain, he was an All-District and All-State selection. He was also MVP of the Friendswood team. Randle excelled in other sports as well earning All-District honors in soccer.

About Lewis: Lewis is a sophomore guard for University of Texas at Austin.The Galveston native is a 2011 graduate of La Marque High School, where he was ranked as the No. 57 prospect by Rivals.com and the No. 76 prospect nationally in the ESPNU 100, following his senior season when he averaged 25 points per game. Lewis is the son of Broderick Brown and Sharonda Lewis.

Lance Pevehouse, Sam Houston State University
High School: Clear Creek High School

About Pevehouse: Son of Danny and Susie Pevehouse. Lance was a three-time All-District guard for coach Buddy Carlisle and League City Clear Creek. He was a District MVP and All-Region as senior in 2006 where he averaged 16. 3 points and 4.3 assists. Pevehouse led his squad to district titles both as a junior and a senior.

Chris Campbell, McMurry University
High School: Clear Brook High School
This week:Saturday, Dec. 1, at University of Arkansas, Fort Smith
About Campbell: Campbell is a redshirt freshman basketball player for McMurry University. He is a 2012 graduate of Clear Brook High School, where he was a three-year letter winner for the Wolverines. He averaged 12 points and 4 rebounds per game. The computer science major is from Friendswood and is the son of Lawton and Gail Campbell.

Connor Neuman, Mississippi College

About Neuman: Neuman played at Friendswood High School for coach Darren Chandler in 2006-2010, where he holds the school record for most three-pointers made in a career. He was also Second Team All-District as both a junior (2008-2009) and senior (2009-2010). He is the son of Steve and Beverly Neuman.

Fred Richardson III, University of Oregon
Position: Guard
High School: Clear Brook High School
This week:Saturday, Dec. 1, vs. University of Arkansas, Pine Bluff
About Richardson: Richardson is a freshman guard for the University of Oregon. He is a 2012 graduate of Clear Brook High School, where he was the all-time leading scorer with 1,820 career points in four seasons as a varsity player. He averaged 20 points and nine rebounds per game in high school. The business administration major is from Houston and is the son of Fred Richardson Jr. and Ginia Hamilton.
