Clear Brook grad Campbell plays in McMurry loss
Clear Brook High School graduate Chris Campbell made one free throw in McMurry University's 61-52 loss to conference opponent Newman Thursday, Nov. 29 in Wichita, Kan., according to McMurry's website.
Campbell and the War Hawks are 5-1 on the season and 0-1 in the Heartland Conference. McMurry also played Saturday, Dec. 1 at University of Arkansas-Fort Smith.
Campbell is a redshirt freshman basketball player for McMurry. He is a 2012 graduate of Clear Brook High School, where he was a three-year letter winner for the Wolverines. He averaged 12 points and four rebounds per game. The computer science major is from Friendswood and is the son of Lawton and Gail Campbell.
