Clear Lake grad Sutherland plays in Coast Guard loss
Clear Lake High School graduate Victoria Sutherland contributed one point at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy lost 52-45 to conference opponent Wheaton (Mass.) Wednesday, Nov. 28 at New London, Conn., according to the Academy's website.
Sutherland also recorded and assist and one steal for the Bears, who are 2-3 on the season and 0-1 in conference.
Sutherland, a 5-foot-9 freshman guard for the Academy, graduated from Clear Lake High School in 2012. She is a Houston native.
