Friendswood alum Garza contributes to Wayland Baptist University victory
Friendswood High School alumnus Mark Garza recorded two rebounds for Wayland Baptist University in a 66-55 win against Southwestern University on Nov. 27, according to Wayland Baptist University's website.
The sophomore forward helped the Pioneers improve to 5-4 on the season.
Wayland Baptist University's next game is 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30 on the road against Dallas Christian College.
Garza is a 2011 graduate of Friendswood High School. He attended McMurry University before transferring to Wayland Baptist. Garza is from Friendswood.
