The following men's basketball players, both with Clear Lake high school ties, have scheduled action this week:
Chris Campbell, McMurry University
High school: Clear Brook High School
This week: Thursday, Nov. 29, at Newman University; Saturday, Dec. 1, at University of Arkansas, Fort Smith
About Campbell: Campbell is a redshirt freshman basketball player for McMurry University. He is a 2012 graduate of Clear Brook High School, where he was a three-year letter winner for the Wolverines. He averaged 12 points and four rebounds per game. The computer science major is from Friendswood and is the son of Lawton and Gail Campbell.
Rob Lewis, Houston Baptist University
Position: Guard
High school: Clear Lake High School
This week: Saturday, Dec. 1, at Rice University
About Lewis: Lewis is a freshman guard for Houston Baptist University. He is a 2012 graduate of Clear Lake High School, where he was a three-year captain for coach Tommy Penders at Clear Lake High School. He averaged 17 points, five rebounds and four assists per game in high school. The business administration major is from Clear Lake and is the son of Robert and Marla Lewis.
