Plans underway for Woofstock fundraiser
Bay Area Pet Adoptions/SPCA will host Woofstock 2012 on Saturday, Dec. 8 at the Clear Lake Park Landlot Pavilion, 5001 NASA Parkway, Houston.
According to a press release, the event will include dog contests, breed rescue groups, dog micro-chipping, training and socialization services, a pet psychic, retail and food vendors and more. Do Run Fly Ball Dogs will hold a demonstration during the event. Additionally, the Houston C3 Corvette Club will have an event display.
Proceeds from the event will benefit animal care and adoption services at Bay Area Pet Adoptions/SPCA. The nonprofit organization claims to provide veterinary services to approximately 1,000 animals each year.
