Clear Lake grad Beverly helps California Baptist to win
Clear Lake High School graduate Jasmine Beverly played for California Baptist University in a 71-44 win over Western State Saturday, Nov. 17 in Pueblo, Colo., according to California Baptist's website.
The senior forward recorded four rebounds and a steal for California Baptist University, who improved to 3-1 on the season. California Baptist University's next game is 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24 on the road at Concordia.
Beverly is a 2009 graduate of Clear Lake High School, where she played three years on the varsity squad. Beverly is from Houston and is the daughter of Chester Beverly and Veronica Beard.
