Clear Brook grad Campbell helps McMurry win over York College
Clear Brook High School graduate Chris Campbell played for McMurry University as the War Hawks defeated York College 86-79 Saturday, Nov. 17 at Moody Coliseum in Abilene, according to McMurry's website.
The McMurry freshman recorded a rebound as McMurry improved to 3-0 on the season. McMurry's next game is 6:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23 against Cameron University.
Campbell is a redshirt freshman. He is a 2012 graduate of Clear Brook, where he was a three-year letter winner for the Wolverines. He averaged 12 points and 4 rebounds per game. The computer science major is from Friendswood and is the son of Lawton and Gail Campbell.
