Friendswood grad contributes to Wayland Baptist University victory
Friendswood High School graduate Mark Garza contributed to Wayland Baptist University's 80-79 win over Dallas Baptist University on Nov. 17 at The Burg Center in Dallas.
According to Wayland Baptist University's website, Garza, a sophomore forward, recorded two rebounds for Wayland Baptist University, who improved to 2-2 on the season. The game took place at the Burg Center in Dallas.
Wayland Baptist University's next game is at 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19 at home against Arlington Baptist College.
Garza is a 2011 graduate of Friendswood High School. He went to McMurry University before transferring to Wayland Baptist University. Garza is from Friendswood.
