Clear Brook grad Richardson contributes to Oregon victory
Clear Brook High School graduate Fred Richardson contributed three points in University of Oregon's 74-48 win over Vanderbilt University Friday, Nov. 16 at Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene, Ore., according to the University of Oregon's website.
The freshman guard also recorded two rebounds for the Ducks, who improved to 3-0 on the season. The next game is 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19 at home against Jacksonville State.
Richardson is a 2012 graduate of Clear Brook High School, where he was the all-time leading scorer with 1,820 career points in four seasons as a varsity player. Hhe scored 20 points and grabbed nine rebounds per game. The business administration major is from Houston and is the son of Fred Richardson Jr. and Ginia Hamilton.
