Clear Lake grad Beverly contributes to California Baptist win

Clear Lake High School graduate Jasmine Beverly contributed a point in California Baptist University's 71-44 win over Western State College of Colorado Saturday,  Nov. 17 at Paul Wright Gym in Pueblo, Colo., according to California Baptist's website.

Beverly, a senior forward, also recorded four rebounds and a steal for California Baptist University, who improved to 3-1 on the season.

California Baptist's next game is 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24 on the road against Concordia.

Beverly is a 2009 graduate of Clear Lake High School, where she played three years on the varsity squad. Beverly is from Houston and is the daughter of Chester Beverly and Veronica Beard.
