Two Webster runners complete Marine Corps Marathon
Two athletes from Webster completed the Marine Corps Marathon on Oct. 28 in Arlington, Va.
The runners from Webster and their finishing times were Joshua Rake, 22, 4:43:08; and Pete Rake, 52, 5:25:13.
According to Marine Corps Marathon organizers, a total of 23,520 runners finished the 26.2-mile race.
Augustus Maiyo, of Colorado Springs, Colo., was the men's overall winner with a time of 2:20:20, while Hirut Guanqul, of Ellicott City, Md., was the winner in the women's category with a time of 2:42:03.
