Clear Lake Intermediate Student wins special violin

Emmy-winning composer Mark Wood gives Clear Lake Intermediate School student Cobi Morano a signed electric violin at a concert benefitting the school Friday, Oct. 26.

Cobi Morano, an eighth grade student at Clear Lake Intermediate School, won an electric violin designed and autographed by Mark Wood at a joint concert with Seabrook Intermediate on Friday, Oct. 26.

Wood is an Emmy-winning composer and former member of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. He was the guest violinist at the concert and was the host of the event.

The proceeds from the ticket sales went to the orchestra programs at the schools.
