A woman was arrested on a charge of possession of less than one gram of a penalty group 1 controlled substance on Thursday, Nov. 8, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The 24-year-old female was booked at the Harris County Jail on Thursday, Nov. 8 and is facing a state felony charge. She resides in Barton Springs.

A man was arrested on a charge of possession of a prohibited weapon on Friday, Nov. 9, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The 19-year-old male was booked at the Harris County Jail on Saturday, Nov. 10 and is facing a class A misdemeanor charge. He resides in North Borough.

A man was arrested on a charge of issuing a bad check on Saturday, Nov. 10, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The 22-year-old male was booked at the Harris County Jail on Saturday, Nov. 10 and is facing class C misdemeanor charges. He resides on West Bay Area Boulevard.

A Houston man is facing a class B misdemeanor charge of driving while intoxicated, first offense, blood alcohol concentration .08 after being arrested on Saturday, Nov. 10, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The man, 29, resides in Sageplum. He was booked on Saturday, Nov. 10.
