Boy sinks his teeth into books, football
Fifth-grader Trenton Nickel is soaring to success at Bay Elementary in Seabrook. Trenton loves playing football in his free time and one day hopes to become an NFL superstar. He enjoys school in general, and although he says math is his favorite, he quickly added that he likes all his classes. Trenton is also campaigning this year for student council. Clear Creek ISD is proud to honor Trenton Nickel as Student of the Week.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS: “I will hopefully be on student council this year. I am running.”
FAVORITE CLASS: “Math. I mean, pretty much all of them are my favorites.”
FAVORITE THING TO DO AFTER CLASS: “I like playing football. My team is the Sharks. I have been on it for three years.”
FAVORITE MUSICAL GENRE: “I like pop music.”
FAVORITE TV SHOW: “That’s a hard one. I like ‘Fish Hooks.’ “
FAVORITE MOVIE: “Ironman” or “Jaws”
FAVORITE BOOK: Trenton enjoys the “I Survived” series. He recently read “The Shark Attacks of 1916.”
AMBITION: “I want to be a pilot or try to be an NFL superstar.”
