Clear Creek ISD names new Clear Lake Intermediate principal

During its Monday, Oct. 22 board meeting, the Clear Creek Independent School District appointed Michael Alvarez as the new principal for Clear Lake Intermediate School.

Alvarez, a University of Houston graduate, was most recently an assistant principal for Clear Brook High School. He also worked as an assistant principal at Victory Lakes Intermediate and Clear Lake High School.

Prior to moving into administration, Alvarez taught history and coached football, baseball and track.

During the meeting, board members also named Robert Branch as the district's new human resources director. Branch will make the transition to the human resources department after a four-year term as principal of Clear View.
