Clear Lake High School's Matt Greene slams Cy-Fair's Jacob Ekster into the mat at the wrestling stat

Clear Lake High School's wrestlers were the top team from the Houston area at this weekend's state championships.
Lake finished sixth with 64 points Saturday at the University Interscholastic League Wrestling State Championships in Austin. Allen took home the boys team championship with 136.5 points.
Clear Lake's Matt Greene finished second in the 130-pound state final, where Cy-Fair's Jacob Ekster avenged his loss to Greene in the regional final by beating him 6-5.
Among other Lake wrestlers, Daniel Rivera finished sixth in the 125-pound finals, Chase Cobb placed fourth in the 145-pound class, and Michael Foster was third in the 189-pound bracket.
In the girls championship, Tarah Brewer of Clear Creek finished fourth in the 138-pound class. Creek's Chelsie McMillion finished fifth in the 148-pound class, Creek's Hayley Mitchell was fourth in the 215-pound class
