Promises for NASA in Florida, none for JSC
That hurts.
Stewart Powell of the the Houston Chronicle reports today:
NASA chief Charles Bolden on Wednesday outlined plans to help the Kennedy Space Center and Florida's aerospace workers through the cancellation of the back-to-the-moon program without mentioning comparable assistance for Houston's Johnson Space Center.
That's despite the fact that the Houston area stands to lose 10,000 direct and indirect jobs from the president's plan to kill NASA's Constellation program.
