League City starts 'listening campaign'
Want to give input on what League City should be like in 25 years?
Then attend the first meeting of a city listening campaign called League City Speaks" 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, at the Johnnie Arolfo Civic Center, 400 W. Walker, and speak up.
The input that the city receives will be used to create its 25-year comprehensive plan for the future to address issues like traffic, water and stormwater management. Earlier this month, the city launched an online survey here for residents to provide input on the plan.
We want people to share their ideas with us," city spokeswoman Kristi Wyatt said. The city's comprehensive plan is about the residents. We want everyone to have input on the future of our city."
