Fruit used to break out museum's floodlights
League City police are looking for the vandal who threw citrus fruit at the Butler Longhorn Museum's floodlights and broke them.
The incident at the city museum, 1220 Coryell Street, occurred between Saturday at 7 p.m. and Monday at 7:30 a.m. The vandal apparently picked citrus fruit off trees near the museum and threw it to break out the lights.
The damage was estimated at $200.
It's just people being destructive for the sake of being destructive," said League City Police Sgt. David Hausam.
