Welcome home space shuttle crew today
Welcome home the crew of the space shuttle Endeavour this afternoon at Ellington Airport.
NASA will hold a 4 p.m. ceremony that's open to the public at the Clear Lake airport's NASA Hangar 990.
Endeavour's six astronauts ended a 14-day journey of more than 5.7 million miles over the weekend, and they're headed home from Florida's Kennedy Space Center today.
George Zamka commanded the flight and was joined on the mission by Pilot Terry Virts and Mission Specialists Kathryn Hire, Stephen Robinson, Nicholas Patrick and Robert Behnken.
If you can't watch the ceremony in person, NASA will be showing it online at www.nasa.gov/ntv.
