Lighthouse Charity Team ready for gala

The Lighthouse Charity Team's annual gala will take place this weekend, featuring dinner, entertainment and auctions.
The fundraising event will start at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 20, at Mary Queen Catholic Church Hall, 606 Cedarwood Drive in Friendswood.
The Lighthouse Charity Team is a Friendswood-based, non-profit organization that was founded in 1984. It provides equipment and volunteer labor to prepare meals to raise funds for charitable organizations and the needy.
Over the years, the group has helped local and national charities raise several million dollars.
