Out with the old library, in with the new

Demolition of the old Evelyn Meador Branch Library in Seabrook started last week, just in time for groundbreaking on the new library.
The Harris County library at 2400 N. Meyer Road has been closed since Hurricane Ike flooded it in September 2008, and a groundbreaking ceremony on the same patch of land was held on Feb. 19.
