Lake hosts Band, Bites & Buys

The Clear Lake High School Falcon Band Booster Club will host Band, Bites & Buys at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 18.
The "Musical, Epicurean & Auction Evening," sponsored by Best Buy at Baybrook, will take place in the Clear Lake High School auditorium and commons, 2929 Bay Area Blvd.
The event showcases ensemble and percussion performances by the school's Falcon Band and will include door prizes and auctions.
Live auction items include a Samsung 50 inch HDTV with Blu-ray, Polk Audio System in a home theater package from Best Buy at Baybrook and a year of service from Comcast; and a Dell laptop and HP printer from the Baybrook Staples.
Food will be available for purchase at $12 per meal. Restaurants include Caf Express, Colosseum Italian Restaurant, Mario's Flying Pizza & Italian Restaurant, Papa John's Pizza, Pomodoro's Pasta & Pizzeria, Potbelly Sandwich Works and Zio's Italian Kitchen.
Proceeds from the event benefit the band.
