Molotov cocktails draw attention

The League City fire marshal's office plans to look into two incidents involving Molotov cocktails.
On Saturday about 12:05 a.m., police received a report of six teenagers in the 1200 block of Abigail Lane throwing Molotov cocktails into the street, League City Police Sgt. David Hausam said.
On Jan. 31 between 5 p.m. and 8 a.m., someone with a Molotov cocktail damaged the road in the 4400 block of Chevy Street.
Police do not have further information about either incident, but Fire Marshal Wanda Martin said she plans to look into both.
It doesn't sound like there is any intentional or any motivation to damage or destroy if they're just throwing them in the street," Martin said. However, one thing leads to another."
