Junior high 7-on-7

Summer 7-on-7 football has exploded on the high school level over the past few years, and now, it's expanding among junior high schools.
A meeting for prospective volunteer junior high coaches will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday at Houston Christian High School at 2700 West Sam Houston Parkway in Houston (77043).
Coaches are asked to RSVP via e-mail to admin@sportsprepusa.org, and for more information, contact executive director Tim Jackson at 713-373-2701, and visit www.sportsprepusa.org.
Junior high 7-on-7 tournaments run from April to May, and the state tournament is May 22 at the University of Houston.
