Thief makes off with Bible left in SUV
Someone apparently wasn't real familiar with what he stole from this SUV: a Bible.
League City police report that a thief broke the front right window of a locked 2007 Ford Explorer that was parked Thursday morning at 1100 Gulf Freeway S.
Besides the Bible, which was valued at $45, the thief swiped a makeup bag valued at $1.
Police say the car burglary took place sometime between 8:45 a.m. and 9:23 a.m., but they have no suspects. Anyone with information should call 281-338-4182 or 281-338-8210.
