Here's your chance to learn Chinese

Always wanted to learn Chinese?
Now you can learn the fundamentals of the spoken language at College of the Mainland night classes held at Clear Springs High School.
The phonetic spelling system, pronunciation and simple vocabulary and grammar patterns will be covered, along with some simple written Chinese characters.
The class meets 6:30 to 9 p.m. on Thursdays, Feb. 18 through April 1.
Cost is $69 for out-of-district students, which includes those living within Clear Creek Independent School District's boundaries. Senior citizens pay close to half price.
