Rattaya Chowdhury Yalamanchili acquired a four-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 15802 Crestbrook Drive in Clear Lake from Liliana Beatriz Arnillas on Nov. 22.
The 2,334-square-foot house was built in 1977 in the Brook Forest subdivision. It is valued at $187,671.
Mr. Yalamanchili is the CEO and president at Yalamanchili Americas Inc., an application software products provider in Houston. He was a director of science engineering and analysis services at Jacobs Technology.
He earned his bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Anna University in 1984 and his M.S. in mechanical engineering and Ph.D. in engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 739 home sales in Clear Lake during the past 12 months.
