League City launches YouTube channel

Can't watch League City's public access channel because you don't have Comcast cable service?
Now, there's an Internet option. League City has launched a YouTube channel so residents can watch the public access channel's videos like Pet of the Week" and Weekly Update" online. The channel can be accessed here: www.youtube.com/CityofLeagueCityTX
City spokeswoman Kristi Wyatt said the city's next step in residential-friendly technology will be on-demand" access to City Council, but for now, residents should bookmark the city's YouTube channel because it will be updated frequently with new videos, Wyatt said.
