Friendswood High School band to perform
Friendswood High School's state champion Wind Ensemble has two upcoming preview concerts planned here before heading to San Antonio for a performance.
The first concert is at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 31, in the high school's auditorium.
The second takes place at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 4, at the University of Houston.
Both concerts are free.
On Feb. 12, the band will perform at the Texas Music Educators Association Convention in recognition of winning the Class AAAA Honor Band title for 2009-2010.
