Winning artists from CCISD's rodeo entries

The assignment for 300,000 kids around the Houston area: Submit an original art project based on Western culture, history or heritage for the 2010 Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Art Contest.
From those, dozens of works from Clear Creek and Friendswood ISD art students were chosen for display at The Arts Alliance Center at Clear Lake, 2000 NASA Parkway in Nassau Bay, through Jan. 28.
The best of the best will have their work prominently displayed in the art center's Hayloft Gallery throughout the run of this year's Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo.
