Rev up for Krewe du Lac Truck Parade

Line up for the 7th Annual Krewe du Lac Truck Parade and Mardis Gras celebration in Kemah.
Look for the Shriners in their little cars, a pirate ship float and decked-out cars and trucks. Costume contests for kids and adults will follow, along with live music, crawfish and revelry.
When: Parade rolls through Kemah Lighthouse District at noon on Saturday, Feb. 6.
Where: T-Bone Tom's at 707 Texas 146 in Kemah. The parade line-up gathers on Harris Street facing north and wraps around the corner on 8th Street.
Cost: Free, but donations appreciated to help offset the cost of the parade.
Registration: Not required for parade participants; all motor vehicles allowed as long as they have certificate of insurance. No walkers or bicycles allowed.
