Bay Area dropout prevention program garners support

Several community leaders recently visited Dunbar Middle School as part of the Communities In Schools-Bay Area dropout prevention program serving 12 schools in Clear Creek and Dickinson Independent School Districts.

The visitors were Janet Summers, CIS-Bay Area program director; Kevin Lankford, principal; Stacie Lewis-Roberts, CIS-Bay Area campus coordinator; Robert Cobb, Dickinson ISD assistant superintendent for administration; Kim Westerlage, Calumet; Frank Mistretta and Mike Millo, Houston Hurricane and Security; Ron Swofford, CIS-Bay Area board member; Diane Mackey, Mackey Mechanical and CIS-Bay Area board member; and Angela Jenkins, CIS-Bay Area development director.
