Greek festival commences in May
The 19th annual Clear Lake Greek Festival will be held from May 25-27 at Clear Lake Park in the Landolt Pavilion, Seabrook, off NASA Parkway.
The three-day festival will feature a variety of Greek food and pastries, including gyros, tyropitas (cheese pie), spanakopitas (spinach pie), Greek rotisserie chicken, souvlaki skewers, loukoumades (fritters in honey and cinnamon), baklava and traditional Greek wine.
Attendees will receive a commemorative program book. The book offers information about the festival's history, including photos from past events and articles about Greek culture, recipes and Greek language phrases.
In addition to food and wine, there will be music and dancing, exhibition folk dancing and rides and moon walks in the children's amusement area.
Tickets cost $4. Presale tickets cost $12 and include admission fee and a meal of your choosing.
