Clear Springs High School culinary students to hold event
Students in the Clear Springs High School culinary arts program will cook a feast at the fifth annual Culinary Arts Extravaganza at 6:30 p.m. Friday, April 20.
Eight guest chefs will work with the students to present the gourmet meal, with entertainment provided by UpSwing, a CCISD student jazz band. A silent auction will also be held.
The menu will include a gruyere tart with leeks and caramelized onions, shrimp dejonge, pesto herb-crusted teak roasted salmon, duck a l'orange, duck confit and more.
Tickets are $40 per person, with tables of eight available for $320 and can be purchased at all CCISD high schools or at the Education Support Center. No tickets will be available at the door.
The meal will be served at Clear Springs High School, located at 501 Palomino Lane in League City.
