Alcohol awareness class offered in League City
Alcohol Awareness Associates is offering a state-approved alcohol awareness class for minors charged with an alcohol-related offense, including minor in possession, minor in consumption, driving under the influence and public intoxication.
The League City class will be held from 6-9:15 p.m. April 23-24 in a private meeting room at the Johnnie Arolfo Civic Center located at 400 W. Walker in League City.
Attendees are required to attend both sessions to receive a certificate of completion.
This program implements Texas legislation mandating the courts to require young alcohol offenders to complete an alcohol awareness program. The course is also available to those who have not received a citation but are interested in learning more about the dangers of alcohol.
Classes are also available in Katy/West Houston, Kingwood and The Woodlands. To register or for more information, visit www.alcoholawarenessassociates.com.
