Tejano Day set for April 15
Tejano Day festivities are scheduled for noon to 10 p.m. Sunday, April 15 at the Galveston County Fair and Rodeo grounds in Hitchcock.
There will be a petting zoo, a mechanical bull, arts and crafts, food and beverages and a tractor pull for kids.
Shelly Lares, Grupo Vida, Servando Ramos y Los Nuevos Leones, Vanessa Alonzo and Los Guerreros del la Musica will provide musical entertainment.
Admission is $5 for adults, $2 for children 6-12 and $2 for adults aged 62 and older.
The Galveston County Fair and Rodeo is a nonprofit organization that promotes youth, education and agriculture through 4-H and FFA programs.
