Kennedy Dance Theatre presents 'Enchanted Evening'
The Kennedy Dance Theatre, 15210 Highway 3, Suite 109 in Webster, will present "Enchanted Evening" at 6 p.m. May 6 at the University of Houston-Clear Lake's Bayou Theatre, 2700 Bay Area Blvd., Houston.
The concert will feature Ballet Jete' and KDT's Vaganova Ballet Department, with a special guest appearance by Inertia Hip Hop Company. It will showcase all new choreography with classical variations from "Swan Lake" and "Sleeping Beauty," contemporary routines set to Mozart and Chopin and several dramatic pieces set to the music of Hans Zimmer.
At the end of the performance, one young aspiring ballerina will be chosen from the audience and crowned princess.
Ballet Jete', KDT's preprofessional company, is under the direction of internationally acclaimed ballet mistress Milena Leben.
