College of the Mainland announces study abroad dates

College of the Mainland has announced study abroad dates for students and community members to Oaxaca, Mexico, this summer.

Students will be able to choose from three trip dates. There will be a four-week option from July 7 to Aug. 4 and two two-week options, with the first from July 7-21 and the second from July 21 to Aug. 4. Students will be able to earn up to eight college credits, and noncredit students are also welcome to sign up.

The deadline to register is May 25. Rafael Naranjo, program director, is willing to talk to interested students after the deadline.

The trip costs $2,150 for the four-week session and $1,700 for the two-week session. Prices include lodging, three meals a day in a Oaxacan home, transportation to and from the Oaxaca airport and a pre-orientation trip.
