League City Police Department blotter, March 27
The League City Police Department reported the following incidents March 25-26:
BURGLARY
March 25: Two residents reported an unknown person broke into their apartment in the 300 block of Waco Avenue between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Sunday.
March 26: A man reported a Makita power drill was stolen from an open attached garage at his residence in the 200 block of Fleetwood Circle between 2 p.m. Sunday and 6:45 a.m. Monday.
March 26: A man reported an unknown person stole a set a golf clubs and a laptop computer from her vehicle in the 2200 block of Aberdeen Drive between 10:30 p.m. March 22 and 11:30 a.m. Sunday.
March 26: A man in the 27000 block of South Gulf Freeway reported someone stolen personal property from his vehicle between 7 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. Monday.
CRIMINAL MISHIEF
March 25: Two neighbors in the 800 block of Skyspring Lane reported tires on their vehicles were slashed in the South Shore Lakes subdivision. One of the incidents occurred between 2 p.m. Saturday and noon Sunday and the other was about 9:30 p.m. Sunday.
A man reported an unknown person poured sugar into his vehicle gas tank in the 2600 block of Quivira Trace between 8:30 p.m. Saturday and 11:30 a.m. Monday.
DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED
March 26, 11:52 p.m.: Miguel Hernandez, 43, was charged with DWI in 2300 block of Calder Drive.
FAILURE TO IDENTIFY
March 25, 2:25 p.m.: Mandy McBride, 44, was charged with failure to identify-fugitive from justice in the 2300 block of East FM 518. She also was served two warrants from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
HARASSMENT
March 26: A woman in the 2100 block of Bristol Breeze Lane reported she has received several phone calls and text messages between midnight Feb. 14 and Saturday from a woman asking her to call her cell phone and work phone.
March 26, 5:36: A woman in the 100 block of Interurban Avenue reported she is being harassed by her husband’s ex-wife
HIT-AND-RUN
March 25, 11:30 a.m.: A woman reported an unknown female driver failed to stop and give information after her vehicle struck the victims in the 100 block of South SH 3.
March 25, 5:56 p.m.: A man reported the driver of an unknown vehicle fled the scene after the suspect’s vehicle allegedly struck the victim’s vehicle in the 1000 block of Dixie Drive.
March 26, 1:06 p.m.: A man reported another vehicle struck his, causing minor damage, but the driver fled the scene without leaving any information.
IDENTITY THEFT
March 26: A woman in the 3800 block of East FM 518 reported her Social Security number was used to file a fraudulent tax return on Jan. 29.
March 26: A man in the 3100 block of Rock Brook Falls Lane reported his credit card was used without his permission between noon and 6:30 p.m. Monday.
THEFT
March 26, 3:15 p.m.: David Lampton, 26, was charged with theft of property with a value equal to or greater than $50, but less than $500, in the 3100 block of South Gulf Freeway.
March 25: A man reported a Nissan 9.9 horsepower outboard motor was stolen off his boat in the 600 block of Davis Road between midnight March 11 and 2:11 p.m. Sunday.
