Cato Fashion to open League City store

Cato Fashion has signed a lease to open a 4,000-square-foot women's clothing store in the League City Towne Center.
That's the strip mall at FM 646 and the Gulf Freeway that also contains a Super Target and Home Depot.
A spokesman for the company said the opening is tentatively scheduled for April.
Cato Fashion, which sells girls and women's apparel, already has nearby stores in Clear Lake Shores by Target and in Friendswood by the West Parkwood HEB.
There are over 1,000 Cato stores in 31 states, and most are located in strip malls that also contain national discount stores.
Calls to Cato to find out when the store will open have not yet been returned.
