Arrested teacher never accused while at CCISD

A Cleveland school district choir director charged with online solicitation of a minor was not accused of wrongdoing during the six years he worked at Space Center Intermediate School, a Clear Creek school district official said.
Jon Christopher Lo, 49, was arrested by Houston police after being accused of sending text messages to a male student that he knew from Space Center Intermediate. The messages were discovered by the student's father after he had graduated from the school.
Lo worked as a part-time choir director at Space Center from 2002 until he left for the Cleveland school district in August 2008, Clear Creek school district spokeswoman Elaina Polsen said.
There is nothing in his employment file that would indicate any allegations of inappropriate relationships with a student or child," Polsen said.
