League City Police Department blotter, March 6
The League City Police Department reported the following incidents between Monday, March 5 and the early hours of Tuesday, March 6:
BURGLARY
March 5, 12:20 p.m.: A man reported a backpack as stolen from the backseat of a pickup truck parked in the 2700 block of South Gulf Freeway.
March 6, 3:06 a.m.: A man reported a known male juvenile stole property from a vehicle parked in the 6200 block of Brookdale Drive and then drove the vehicle without permission. Police say burglary and theft charges are pending against the teen.
DRUGS
March 5, 8:46 a.m.: Jessica Amieva, 34, was arrested on a charge of possession of a controlled substance during a traffic stop in the 3400 block of Calder Drive.
FRAUD
March 5: A woman in the 2800 block of Aurelia Lane reported an unknown person used her debit card information without permission to make fraudulent purchases between Feb. 29 and March 5.
PUBLIC INTOXICATION
March 6, 12:36 a.m.: Daniel Reith, 57, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication in the 1600 block of West Main Street.
TERRORISTIC THREAT
March 6, 12:54 a.m.: Freddie Alvarez, 29, was arrested on a charge of terroristic threat after a family fight in the 1700 block of East Walker Street. He is accused of threatening and assaulting a female causing her bodily injuries. Police say assault charges are pending.
THEFT
March 5, 12:08 p.m.: Lloyd Cooper, 46, was arrested on a felony theft charge and an outstanding warrant in the 2900 block of South Gulf Freeway. He is accused of shoplifting. Police say the charge is enhanced because Cooper has two or more previous theft convictions.
