Anthony Kearns, founding member of Irish Tenors, to perform benefit concert
Anthony Kearns, a founding member of the Irish Tenors, will perform a benefit concert March 18 at the Grand 1894 Opera House, located at 2020 Avenue East, in Galveston.
The concert, which will raise money for autism awareness and education, begins at 3 p.m.
Kearns will sing both classic Irish ballads and Broadway show tunes. His repertoire includes "Danny Boy," "How Are Things in Glocca Morra?" and "O Sole Mio."
Along with accompanist Patrick Healy, Kearns adds a dose of Irish wit to his performances.
The concert is in conjunction with the nonprofit Wexford Inc.
