Community Advisory Council meeting set for March

Texas City-La Marque Community Advisory Council announced its next meeting will be held from 5-7 p.m. March 15.

The meeting will take place in the Captain's Room at the Nessler Center, 2010 Fifth Ave. N. in Texas City.

Programs will include a presentation by Commander James B Robertson of the Texas City Marine Safety Unit called U.S. Coast Guard 101. The meeting will also include local area social services presentations from Mark W. Davis, executive director and co-founder of Gleanings from the Harvest/Galveston County Food Bank, and Evangelina Guerra, homeless liaison and director of curriculum and instruction for Hitchcock ISD.
