Horse trailer swiped . . . among other things
Someone made off with a horse trailer in broad daylight last week.
Friendswood police are reporting that the two-horse red Western-brand trailer, worth around $4,000, had been parked at a home on Windsong Lane.
It disappeared sometime between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Dec. 30, along with a $2,000 saddle and other horse gear inside the trailer.
Among other items reported stolen in the last couple of weeks:
A pressure washer was stolen from Parkwood Animal Clinic in Friendswood around 10:45 a.m. on Dec. 26. The business owner saw a man loading the machine into a small gray pickup but wasn't able to stop him.
A Sig Sauer handgun was stolen from an unlocked truck parked in a driveway in Friendswood's Glenshannon neighborhood on Dec. 21.
Over $400 worth of the antacid Prevacid was stolen from a Target in League City on Jan. 3.
Board games were among the items stolen out of a car in the 800 block of Coryell Street in League City on Jan. 3.
