The Lunar and Planetary Institute to host 'unconference'
SpaceUp Houston will host the second annual SpaceUP Houston Unconference from Saturday Feb. 25 through Sunday, Feb. 26 at The Lunar and Planetary Institute.
The family-oriented science event will feature discussion forums about outer space with community scientists and engineers, and space-related activities.
Guest speakers include astronaut Chris Ferguson, authors Charles Justiz and Dayna Steele and Jim Adams, NASA HQ deputy director for planetary science.
Exhibits will feature Legos, moon rocks and robots.
Admission is $25 for adults, and students age 8 through 18 get in free with adult registration both days.
