Home Instead Senior Care to hold salute to senior service
The Home Instead Senior Care office serving central Houston will hold a salute to honor senior volunteers for the contributions they make to their local communities as part of the Salute to Senior Service Program.
Home Instead would like the public to nominate volunteers who are 65 years old and older who dedicate at least 15 hours of service per month. Nominate candidates online at salutetoseniorservice.com from now through March 15, or request nomination forms by sending an email to atckoehler@homeinsteadinc.com.
The winners will receive plaques and have their stories posted on salutetoseniorservice.com. Additionally, $5,000 will be donated to the national winner's nonprofit charity of choice. The national winner will be chosen in May.
