Assistance League of the Bay Area keeps seniors company
Volunteers with Assistance League of the Bay Area are literally touching the lives of the elderly.
Assistance League’s “Hands from the Heart” program is giving the gifts of time and touch by providing simple manicures and hand massages. The group gives about 30 manicures on the third Tuesday of every month at Baywind Nursing Care Facility in League City.
Assistance League of the Bay Area is a chapter of National Assistance League, which is dedicated to improving the quality of life through community-based philanthropic programs. To learn more, visit www.BayArea.AssistanceLeague.com.
